Welcome! I’m Cara Lichty, a Manual Osteopath and Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for helping patients better understand and reconnect with their bodies.

After running a successful home-based practice in Kitchener for many years, my family and I made the move to Port Elgin to be closer to family — and I’ve been grateful to continue growing my practice within this wonderful community ever since.

My treatment approach has evolved significantly over the years. Early in my Massage Therapy career, I focused heavily on deep tissue techniques, but through continued education and clinical experience, I’ve found that lasting results can often be achieved with far less force and trauma to the tissues. My treatments now focus on restoring balance within the body through a more gentle, intentional, and whole-body approach.

I’m particularly passionate about addressing postural imbalances, asymmetries, chronic tension patterns, and nervous system regulation, as these are often deeply connected to pain and dysfunction.

Additionally, I have a strong interest in supporting women through the hormonal, physical, and stress-related challenges that can impact so many aspects of daily life.

Every treatment is thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs and provided within my scope as either a Manual Osteopath or Registered Massage Therapist, allowing for a more comprehensive treatment experience and flexible insurance billing options.
